Job Description: National University is looking for part-time faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Management, Marketing, International Business, and Supply Chain Management. Candidates with prior teaching experience with adult learners are preferred.
Essential Job Duties:
Teach course(s) on the Blackboard Learning Management System platform.
Design an effective classroom experience that promotes learning of course/program learning outcomes appropriate to adult learners.
Grade assignments/assessments and provide feedback to students in a timely fashion.
Provide professional and thoughtful feedback to students’ questions and concerns.
Execute teaching with a strong emphasis on student-centered learning and experiential methodology.
Collaborate with other University departments to ensure a positive overall experience for all University students.
Be familiar with and support University policies and Part-Time Faculty Policies.
Additional Job Duties, including but not limited to:
Experience with Blackboard Learning Management System.
Proficiency with common computer tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and email.
Willing to learn and become competent in online platforms for course delivery.
Using APA style, most recent edition
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
Professional experience in an organizational setting in a relevant area.
An earned terminal degree in a relevant discipline (Ph.D. or DBA) from a regionally accredited university.
Multiple years’ experience with teaching adult learners in a variety of delivery formats: on-ground, experiential, hybrid, online.
Professional experience in an organizational setting with an advanced level of formal authority and experience in a relevant area.
