Manage email marketing initiatives, including collaborating with Membership and Marketing Department staff and staff in other departments to send out member and prospective member communications through Real Magnet (email software). Includes editing and reviewing emails to ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards.
Execute membership recruitment marketing tactics, including writing headlines and copy for marketing materials such as emails, direct mail, website and social media ads, print ads, billing statement inserts, and more.
Coordinate project execution, including list procurement, printing, production, and/or distribution with Building Services, Web Services, IT or external vendor, and coordinating telemarketing campaigns.
Manage annual renewal process by coordinating efforts of the Membership and Marketing Department with other departments. Includes sending email notices, printed invoices, and coordinating telemarketing efforts with external vendor.
Coordinate revisions of the online and paper membership application forms and maintain and edit membership information on the ANS website as required.
Implement member engagement strategy to increase member benefit awareness and usage through email and other member communication.
Utilize association management system (database) to export reports and pull lists for recruitment and retention campaigns.
Work closely with other Membership and Marketing Department staff and staff in other departments to manage promotions, communications, and announcements to Society members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS: Excellent copywriting, verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; proficient computer skills; working knowledge of Excel and familiarity with database management; able to work independently, effectively with other departments, and professionally with members.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years of marketing experience, preferably with experience working for an association.
