Texas A&M University is seeking an accomplished professional for the position of Athletic Assistant in Athletics Marketing.
The Athletic Assistant is responsible for developing, proposing and implementing marketing plans for the purpose of encouraging increased attendance and enhancing the fan experience for select athletic programs. This includes designing and placing advertising materials, developing and directing promotions, managing gameday staff, and being the primary athletics marketing contact for the respective sport (i.e. Track & Field, Swimming & Diving, and Tennis). Responsible for collaborating with Texas A&M Ventures (corporate sponsorships), 12th Man Foundation (donations & ticketing), 12th Man Productions (video), and other athletics support staff on a daily basis. Primary responsibility of assisting and contributing to overall unit productivity and assisting personnel to maximize results. Ability to work flexible hours (night, weekend & holidays) as required to complete assigned duties and event coverage.
