Description: Emerson College's Office of Marketing seeks an exceptionally-talented Digital Marketing Manager to support a wide range of intensely high-profile marketing efforts spanning the globe. The Digital Marketing Manager is a crucial member of the Marketing staff, and brings a wealth of experience in digital content strategy, working to continuously keep the College's digital presence on the leading-edge. The Digital Marketing Manager is not just a practitioner, but a leader with the ability to inspire internal teams, clients, and external partners to think differently about the role of digital content, owned and paid media, and its importance to growing and sustaining the reputation and prominence of the institution. The Digital Marketing Manager possesses exceptional talent in writing and the optimization of digital marketing assets, and is capable of both strategic planning and rapid execution across a diversity of platforms, audiences, and environments.
This is a bargaining unit position. In this position, you will be exclusively represented by the Service Employees International Union, Local 888 for purposes of wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.

Required Knowledge: Prior experience creating and optimizing digital marketing campaigns through a variety of platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google AdWords, Bing) and formats (video, display, search, social) Excellent skill creating and editing a range of copy across different platforms and mediums The ability to translate long-form text, program details, and college initiatives into concise and engaging web-centric assets Individual and interpersonal acumen the flexibility to plan, coordinate, and execute multiple initiatives individually and collaboratively Comfort with presenting and communicating skill and tact while working interpersonally across a wide range of campus partners
Preferred/Desirable Knowledge: Depth of knowledge of the higher education landscape.
Required Prior Work Experience: 5+ years experience in marketing, strategy, and development of marketing content assets with a strong focus on digital execution of content Successful applicants should be prepared to provide a portfolio to demonstrate experience

Compose and manage marketing collateral across multiple platforms including landing page development, paid/organic social media content, email copy, paid search creative, and banner/ad copy.
Optimize campaigns with consideration of SEO, lead generation, and analytics measurement.
Report ongoing metrics and highlights to campus partners with constant focus on optimization and improving campaign ROI.
Collaborate across the digital, content, design, and project management/strategy teams to set external expectations and manage multiple marketing projects
