Provide event and marketing support for the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC Metroplex).
1.Responsible for developing, enhancing and implementing new and existing marketing approaches for recruiting customers to the various programs TMAC offers. 2.Manage marketing projects from start to finish, including all printed and electronic marketing, with deadlines and budget parameters 3.Collaboratively plan, develop, and coordinate a social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, etc.) strategy for lead generation and retaining current customers. 4.Support and implement graphic design projects, manage course catalogs, create e-newsletter templates, create promotional templates for flyers and other advertisements for TMAC. 5.Establish metrics for evaluating marketing initiatives for social media and other platforms. 6.Responsible for co-managing multiple areas of marketing such as: website design and development, marketing campaigns, digital signage, and social media communications. 7.Responsible for the design and development of all marketing collateral promoting TMAC including: print marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, promotional items, and additional creative services as needed. 8.Complete project work as needed for TMAC customers as assigned by field staff. 9.Execute all event and group project logistics as requested by the Director, Office Manager, Product Line Leaders, and Marketing Coordinator. Project logistics to include but not limited to: design registration pages and email blasts, market upcoming events, confirm registration, order supplies and catering, support Office Manager with accounts payable/receivable, maintain a ProCard and reconcile the statement monthly. 10.Manage monthly and yearly event calendar & room logistics 11.Participate in customer meetings and conferences attended by Business Development team or TMAC field staff to further develop partnerships and to obtain content for social media and/or success stories for TMAC. 12.Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field or the equivalent experience.
3-5 Years of marketing/promotions experience, prior experience at an MEP or knowledge of the MEP system preferred.Excellent organizational skills. Experience in graphic design and public relations preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledgeable about computers, social media, Wordpress, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
