Job Summary This position is responsible for leading and implementing marketing and communication efforts that drive growth, engagement and retention among physicians, consumers, and employees. The primary function of this position is to research, propose, produce, budget financial resources and measure marketing and communications initiatives promoting organizational engagement while ensuring that outputs support our strategic plan, annual marketing plan, HonorHealth brand standards, organizational values and service behaviors. Utilizes a range of communications channels that reach multiple stakeholder groups to support increased business growth, loyalty and engagement. This position will serve as a liaison for all organizational stakeholders with accountability for relationship building and increasing the emotional connection for physicians, employees and consumers with the HonorHealth brand. Additionally, this role will help stakeholders understand and elevate our value proposition by leveraging the consumer experience and patient journey in all recommendations.
Responsible for leading the development, implementation and measurement of clear growth and engagement strategies that increase consumer growth, physician and employee engagement and advocacy for HonorHealth, our brand, programs and services. Develops inspiring value propositions and content in alignment with organizational objectives that creates an emotional connection to HonorHealth, achieves organizational goals and operational efficiency. Develops and analyzes metrics related to content and campaign performance and stakeholder engagement and align strategy. Conducts ongoing digital dashboard reviews, business KPI's, usability tests and pulse surveys to gauge effectiveness.
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with HonorHealth leadership, peers, community leaders and organizations to understand and align objectives, develop recommendations and secure alignment with growth and engagement plans a resource expert and trusted partner. Actively solicits feedback from consumers, physicians, employees and other stakeholders in the development of and execution of plans.
Manages and develops assigned staff. Interviews and recommends staff for hire. Initiates changes in classification, salary, promotion, demotion, transfer, and termination. Leads annual performance appraisals and creates development plans with staff. Supports and facilitates staff involvement in programs and committees. Assists with settling employee issues, counsels employees and administers appropriate disciplinary action as needed. Responsible for approval and submission of time cards, and enforcement of and adherence to HR policies. Responsible for budgetary needs of marketing campaigns, staff and vendor resources.
Oversees all media communications, crisis management communications planning and implementation, and ensures productive and responsive media relations, including compliance with applicable confidentiality/privacy regulations, and 24/7 staffing for breaking news / disaster response. Leads media relations on-call program and facilitates media training and mentoring for senior leaders. Able to serve as assigned PIO role for emergency/disaster communications.
