Serves as a key contact person and coordinator for assigned publications and graphic design jobs and performs a variety of duties: production plans, coordination with graphic designers and requesting quotes from contract printer vendors. Performs project management of university print projects for departments and divisions.
40% Serve as the front-line point of contact for on-campus clients requesting design and print jobs. Develop a plan with university clients for project scope, timelines, budget and expectations.
20% Negotiate with printers and estimators for post-design production activities such as printing and mailing.
10% Assist Director of Creative Services as project manager for other publications-related projects as needed.
5% Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelorâ™s degree in Marketing or applicable field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Three years of experience in marketing, communications and media production.
Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
Strong working knowledge of printing, publishing and/or graphics procedures. Ability to work across teams and with a variety of projects, vendors and constituencies.
