Under the supervision of the Center for mHealth and Social Media Director and Program Director, the Digital Communications Coordinator will manage the Center’s social media and communications and assist in developing outreach materials to disseminate the Center’s mission and work to key audiences.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for marketing, publicity, and timely preparation and dissemination of Center communications materials.
Manage the Center’s social media presence on all platforms.
Create materials to facilitate the timely dissemination of study and report findings.
Adapt intervention content for social media delivery.
Create and maintain a collection of Center communication materials and intervention content.
Associates degree and two to four years of experience in graphic design or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and training.
Must have lead a social media marketing communications campaign.
Experience writing for web content, newsletters, and/or other public relations formats.
Experience in social media promotion on a variety of platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, such as InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing communications.
Proficiency in marketing/communications tools, such as WordPress, Google Analytics, and email marketing automation software.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS).
Knowledge of media monitoring services (e.g., Meltwater).
Experience in creating infographics and photographic editing.
This is a full-time, annually renewable, 35 hour/week position. The investigators have projects sponsored for the next several years.
