Simpson College seeks an enthusiastic professional to help increase inquiries for Continuing & Graduate (C&G) Programs through the development and oversite of a comprehensive marketing strategy to include development of marketing campaigns, as well as strategies for recruitment, community outreach and strategic communications with prospective students. This position is budgeted as a part-time position working approximately 25 hours a week.
Develop and implement, in collaboration with the Office of Marketing and Public Relations (OMPR), a comprehensive C&G strategic marketing plan to include the development of marketing campaigns along with budget and schedule.
Lead the design and messaging for C&G publications, student success profiles, email campaigns, digital marketing/social media, direct mail campaigns, and other marketing strategies to grow and support C&G programs and initiatives. Track and analyze performance of these efforts.
Act as a partner with academic departments and OMPR to promote C&G inquiries and enrollment through marketing strategies, advertising and prospect communication plans that drive new inquiries to C&G programs.
Build brand recognition and actively promote all C&G programs in the wider community through representation at community colleges, businesses, professional organizations, career fairs and related community events.
Support the Director of Alumni Relations in growing and maintaining an active and effective C&G Alumni board to further word of mouth referrals, a student mentoring network and long-term alumni engagement.
Strategize communication plans for new programs. Assist in new program development through research, surveys, and focus groups.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree required.
The ability to clearly communicate both orally and in written form with excellent listening and persuasion skills and considerable tact.
Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with various marketing platforms, with an emphasis on digital marketing, and how they translate into brand awareness, lead generation and program development.
Advanced knowledge of marketing strategy and marketing plan design.
Possess (or demonstrate the ability to acquire) a clear knowledge of the academic environment.
Accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality.
Strong computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office and Word Press or other web development tool.
Proficiency with digital and social media tools and platforms.
Advanced knowledge of marketing design and strategy.
Ability to exercise advanced judgment and require only general direction.
