National Account Manager will embrace a customer driven organization to achieve ongoing growth by building relationships, uncovering opportunities and increasing sales with their Key Accounts. This will be done by living Alexander’s Mission of working together to help clients enhance their brands and convey their message through useful tools and Vision to be known as the most creative and responsive resource for delivering solutions.
You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Develop and execute Strategic Partner alliances within the National Account clients.
Deal directly with new and existing customers daily, within your National Accounts, through phone calls and emails to meet sales quotas/goals.
Assertively seek and find new business opportunities with existing and new designated National Accounts.
Assist in developing and executing new and creative ways to apply our products and services to the customers’ need.
Use industry data to gain information on customers, their previous sales, trends in previous sales to prospect new opportunities.
Keep records of customer interactions and transitions, using the CRM program and other company documents.
Maintain your clientele information on the CRM program.
Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal departments to execute customer’s request within a timely manner.
Maintain current product and service knowledge while applying that knowledge when working with customers.
Analyze and build action plans based on Key Accounts sales reports.
Plan, organize and implement effective client meetings and lunch and learns, while also attending trade shows as needed.
To be successful in this role you must have:
5 years of sales experience in the Promotional Products Industry
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence positive change
Live Alexander’s Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles
Ability to apply consultative selling approach
Effective communication skills – verbal and written
Strong attention to detail while multitasking
Personal drive to meet goals and expectations
Willingness to enhance computer skills and training
Ability to travel
