Assistant Professor of Marketing

The Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, Seattle, invites applications for two faculty positions in the department of Marketing and International Business. These appointments will be for full-time, tenure-track positions (100% FTE) at the rank of Assistant Professor. The service period for these positions is 9 months. The anticipated start date for these positions is September 16, 2020. University of Washington faculty members engage in research, teaching, and service. Duties include conducting high quality scholarly research in quantitative marketing or a related field, and effectively teaching marketing analytics courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. The Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington consistently ranks among the top business schools in the United States—for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Requires a PhD or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Candidates must have interest and capacity to conduct high quality scholarly research and potential to publish in top-tier marketing journals, as demonstrated by a record of rigorous, published research in any mainstream field within marketing. Candidates must also have potential to teach at a high level of competency, as documented by teaching evaluations or letters of recommendation.
