Bachelorâs degree in communications, marketing, business or a related field required
Masterâs degree in business, marketing or a related field preferred
At least 10 years of experience in marketing or related field required, health marketing background preferred.
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible staff supervision experience preferred.
Thorough knowledge and / or experience with communication, marketing, advertising, promotional and public relations practices.
Experience interpreting market and business data, with the ability to apply this information to the development, implementation, measurement and evaluation of marketing programs.
Ability to work with diverse groups and organizations required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills required. Attention to detail.
Strong project management, organization and planning skills.
Effective leadership skills as well as the ability to be a team player.

The Director of Strategic Marketing is responsible for driving innovative solutions that support the Keck Medicine of USC brand and business development goals, with an emphasis on the high-priority product lines, new locations of care and special initiatives of the organization. In this leadership position, the Director will deliver marketing strategy that competitively differentiates Keck Medicine and builds market awareness, preference, volume and revenue.Additionally, the complexity of this role requires success in prior execution of marketing automation programs and the Directorâs ability to execute, analyze and report on overall team success through KPIs. The Director for Strategic Marketing will participate in various internal and external committees and workgroups representing the department and organization.
