POSITION TITLE: MANAGER MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS – FEDERATED HERMES
DEPARTMENT: CONTENT CREATION AND PRODUCTION
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance or other related field required; work towards or possession of advanced degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of marketing or corporate communications experience or relevant experience required; 3 to 7 years of marketing experience in the investment management industry preferred
Knowledge of general investment concepts required, knowledge of mutual funds, banks, institutional and detail retail investors preferred
In-depth knowledge of marketing campaigns including how to use marketing programs to sell products and enhance the brand required; knowledge of responsible investing/ESG preferred
Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills required; demonstrated ability to develop and write marketing plans
Develop strong working relationships with, Federated’s Office of Responsible Investing, Hermes personnel, product managers, sales and other relevant groups to ensure the best ideas and programs are developed.
Work with Hermes to customize existing content to fit the needs of the U.S. investment professional and U.S. investors, and the U.S. institutional market.
Ensure that all marketing content reinforces the Federated Hermes branding and key messages.
Work with product managers, channel manager, sales directors and investment personnel to develop campaigns for specific value add/educational products that are either targeted to specific firms or targeted broadly to numerous organizations.
Develop channel-specific marketing campaigns to support sales efforts.
Provide marketing direction and ideas to sales management; develop marketing plans to support the execution of these ideas.
Analyze market research, client information and other strategic input and incorporate relevant findings into specific product, channel, or client programs.
Measure results of marketing programs and campaigns via post-project reviews and analysis.
Manage project budgets and timelines to bring programs and sales ideas to market on time and on budget. Participate in staff budgeting and forecasting as required.
Represent Federated at clients meetings and some industry or client events.
Support the in the quarter-end process as defined by management.
