Posting Details Job ID: 48870 Rank: Instructor College/School: College of Business Responsibilities: DePaul University's Department of Marketing is seeking applicants for a term faculty position (fulltime, not tenure track) to begin September 1, 2019. The ideal candidate will have an MBA and at least five years of work experience in a marketing position. A Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field is preferred but not essential. Teaching experience is strongly preferred and business experience is a significant advantage. Ideally, the successful candidate will have work and/or teaching experience in digital marketing, social media, and/or internet marketing. Teaching needs also include introductory courses such as principles of marketing, sales, and marketing research. The typical teaching load for a term faculty member is nine courses per year, based on a quarter system (three per term). The department has 16 tenured and tenure-track professors and six non-tenure track Executives-in-Residence (term faculty) as of Spring, 2019. The atmosphere is exceptionally collegial and collaborative. DePauls Driehaus College of Business is located in Chicagos business district (the Loop) and has one of the largest AACSB accredited part-time MBA programs in the world. The College and Department Founded in 1912, the Driehaus College of Business was among the first 10 business colleges in the United States and the first at an American Catholic university. The College offers undergraduate degrees in Marketing, part-time and full-time MBA programs, a large number of M.S. degrees, and a D.B.A. program. There are approximately 4,000 undergraduate, 2,000 graduate students, and XXX D.B.A students enrolled in the College. The college is named for DePaul alumnus Richard H. Driehaus in re cognition of his longtime partnership with his alma mater and $30 million gift in 2012. The college's business graduate school and MBA program were introduced in 1948. The school was named the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in 1992 to honor the former CEO and chairman of Sears, Roebuck & Co.
