Serves as go-to email project manager in the HAA: managing the email development process for major HAA marketing campaigns; pulls, manages, and manipulates lists to prepare them to send; manages, tracks, and shares A/B testing processes for email campaigns; helps pull and share data related to email sends; and serves as primary liaison for Email Strategy team on all email deployments;
In support of HAA social media campaigns, writes and posts social media content across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn on a daily basis, and at the discretion of the Assistant Director, Engagement Marketing; this may occasionally include social media on-site event coverage during nights and weekends; helps pull and share data related to social media engagement;
Manages the process to procure and develop content for the Engagement Marketing team's two monthly broadcast newsletters; Liaises with alumni volunteers and University-wide partners to manage the development of the newsletters; develops and refines approach to process; consults on redesign and engagement strategies;
Pulls and maintain lists of alumni for social and email operations;
Serves as the primary liaison with the Communications Creative Services team on proofreading requests and the Email Strategy team on email requests—regularly maintaining the Engagement Marketing project request queue for both workflows;
Manages and authors the monthly Engagement Marketing report, an internal communication going out to HAA and AA&D partners with helpful marketing updates and best practices;
Serves as publisher of several sections of the a.h.edu website; occasionally writes new web content;
During spring reunions, is primary developer of content for the College Alumni Programs text messaging program—writing and posting text messages through Salesforce Marketing Cloud;
Provides project-specific and some administrative support to the Director and Associate Director, Engagement Marketing;
Provides backup coverage for the HAA reception desk;
Other duties as assigned.

A minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience, in a marketing or communications role.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred;
Exceptional organization and time management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a complex organization;
A fast learner who has excellent attention to detail;
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and partners;
Demonstrated experience writing and developing marketing copy for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram;
Familiarity with Excel strongly preferred;
Demonstrates a level of comfort with basic social media and email engagement metrics;
Love of learning and willingness to develop new skills as needed;
Motivated, collaborative attitude and the ability to think and execute quickly while working as part of a high-functioning, close-knit team;
Familiarity with social media reporting tools preferred;
Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud email tool or similar email vendor preferred.
Occasional weekend and evening work would be involved.
