The Admission Marketing Specialist will work with a team of admission and communications professionals to develop and fulfill a strategic student recruitment marketing plan. Leading the Admission Marketing and Communications Team, the Specialist will utilize institutional brand standards, market research, best practices, internal and external resources to develop creative concepts and content for marketing and communications that support the achievement of student recruitment goals. The Specialist will collaborate with the director of admission, a marketing strategist, a content strategist for external relations, an admission officer, and a database administrator to develop, prioritize, manage and execute projects designed to meet student recruitment goals.
This position is a term position through the Fall of 2023.
Bachelor’s degree and seven years of experience.
• Collaborative and diplomatic leadership style with at least three years successful/proven experience in bringing new ideas, creativity, vision and cohesiveness to teams • Three years of successful/proven experience working with a Constituent Relationship Management System (preferably Slate) to program and execute queries and communication plans • Familiarity with contemporary best practices in strategic recruitment marketing, communications, account direction and project management as well as related skill sets and tools • Demonstrated excellence in utilizing data analysis to inform strategic thinking and action • Familiarity with programming languages preferred (e.g., HTML, SQL, JAVA, etc. Liquid Markup) • Exceptional communication skills, preferably with experience as a writer, editor and/or designer • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies including staff, faculty, students, alumni, and third-party vendors • Ability to serve as an ambassador of the College with availability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
