The Ophthalmology Marketing Department has an opening for a Program Coordinator. In this position you will:
Analyze, coordinate, and evaluate program operation and procedures
Develop or oversee development of budget for program
Develop, cultivate, and maintain working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program
Establish program goals and objectives and directs program evaluation and quality control activities; develop and/or approve schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals
Plan and coordinate special events. Participate in conferences. Present data and program information.
Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
Read literature and attend functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to program
May provide supervision to staff members
Assist and relieve supervisor of various internal administrative duties, which require thorough understanding of, and adherence to, general marketing and creative advertising concepts
Prepare or coordinate marketing projects and event; oral and/or written presentations; materials for meetings and seminars; manages projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience: Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field, and at least five (5) years experience in appropriate field required.
