TheUTIA Marketing and Communications Department seeks a qualified Project Coordinatorto facilitate the process of production jobs for the team. This position willwork closely with internal team members and institute and campus clients tokeep projects and deliverables on track from inception to delivery. It will beimportant for the position to be familiar with multiple print and digitalformats. The position will also be responsible for coordinating workflow,working with outside vendors, and building strong relationships with clientsand co-workers.
At least two years of professional experiencerelated to the duties and responsibilities.
Serve as the point person for the initiation,facilitation, and completion of all creative projects.
Manage data entry (project details, milestones,updates, approvals, etc.) in the electronic job management system to ensurethat all jobs are tracked.
Work closely with the Assistant Director forCreative Services to determine realistic timelines and budgets for projects, aswell as distribution of projects to team members.
Regularly attend Creative team meetings, andprovide latest overall production schedule (new project needs and currentproject statuses).
Create project plans and schedules.
Manage multiple, simultaneous project schedulesthat may include internal and external resources.
Facilitate rigorous approval processes workingclosely with clients and internal team members.
Work with clients and team members to createand manage estimates and budget projects.
Work with printers and vendors both at UT andoff campus on deadlines and the review of proofs.
Set up necessary meetings throughout theprocess.
Provide insight to management on processimprovements.
Work as part of a team to develop and implementcreative solutions to communicate problems.
Check proofs as necessary.
Perform basic writing, editing and design workas needed.
Provide administrative duties that meet the needs of all eligible clientele regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, religion or veteran status.
