Small, award-winning architectural lighting design studio in Flatiron District is seeking a proactive, multi-talented and adaptable marketing professional to join our team.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a talented yet flexible coordinator of marketing and proposal tasks. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, flourishes in a fast-paced environment, and can remain resourceful and efficient with a “no-task too small” mentality. This individual should have a high level of professionalism and confidentiality and the ability to maintain a good sense of humor while under pressure.
The successful candidate’s core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Serve as primary contact for all new work inquiries, reviewing and responding to project information and materials from potential clients
-Write and produce RFP/RFQ proposal responses, interview and/or presentation materials with input from senior staff
-Coordinate and review new contracts with attorney and insurance carriers
-Track and maintain status of pending proposals and contracts
-Coordinate and prepare awards and publication submissions; promotional materials including print, online electronic media, and direct mail.
-Maintain and update company website
-Organize and coordinate company functions and events
-Oversee and update office-wide contact directory
-Coordinate with Office Manager to run efficient and professional office and assist in miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 2 years in a similar role within the Architectural or Lighting Design industry
-Excellent oral, written and graphic communication skills
-Fluent in English and Architectural/Engineering terminology
-Proficient in writing technical proposals and experience with AIA Contracts
-Punctual with strong organizational and time management habits
-Sharp attention to detail and accuracy
-Enthusiastic, proactive attitude, works well independently and collaboratively
-Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Bluebeam
