The Director of Marketing will serve as a key member of the Marketing and Communications Team. The successful candidate will develop marketing plans focused on engaging and activating alumni and donors. The Director will: prepare, develop, and implement marketing strategies that help to inform the overall communications strategy for the Office of Development and Alumni Relations goals; manage the process of delivering marketing tactics from request to delivery to analysis; write copy for event invitations, posters, presentations, brochures and web pages; stay abreast of and inform colleagues about marketing best practices; manage vendor relationships and contracted staff. The Director will report to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications for Development and Alumni Relations and will be responsible for directly managing a Writer and Videographer. The Director will regularly collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing and also partner with members of Lehigh University Communications and Public Affairs Office and other college and unit communicators throughout campus. A strong candidate will have a background in marketing strategy, copywriting, and multimedia production for non-profits and/or higher education.
