Posting Summary: The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applications for one or more faculty positions in the Marketing Area, beginning August 2018. The appointment will be for a full-time, tenure-track position at the advanced Assistant Professor stage (i.e., 2-5 years teaching experience post Ph.D.) In addition to holding a PhD, successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to publish in the field's top journals (e.g. Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science) as well as perform at a high level in the classroom. Although the Marketing Area welcomes applicants of any specialty, candidates with a strong background in teaching core marketing courses (principles of marketing), global marketing, and candidates in a position to teach business analytics and marketing research are especially encouraged to apply.
